Here's one oil painting and two other painintgs I executed for the Cabin-Time trip in the UP. I finally got everything photographed and uploaded and am excited to share it. The two below were painted with acrylic and ink on MDF.

I'll be leaving town in a week or so, will post a few more photos and drawings before I go.

Today issue 10 of Slice came in the mail. I was honored to have them feature the Outlived series for their cover of "Growing Up". Slice is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit literary magazine that is well worth checking out, here's their site

I made this late the other night in my watercolor book. Working on some really awesome client projects this month and some larger oil paintings as well. Still doing lots of small drawings and slowly working on one other larger drawing right now too. It's getting warmer here and the sun is shining more often. Until next time...

What a month. Here's some imagery from outside the hospital. I shot one roll of film for fun throughout the past few weeks. I just finished a new painting, and also have been working on a few new drawings that I'm excited to show. Thanks for all who bought one of the new prints this month, its fun to ship them and know they'll be enjoyed on your walls. The art process is continuing everyday, so is the coffee consumption. Anyways, blah blah blah. here's a few photographs. 

Here's some more black and white film I shot over the past few weeks. Some was 120 on a friend's Holga and the rest was 35. 

Finally, some new prints added to the store. The two Outlived drawings and Free-Soil Thirty-One are each limited editions of 350. The print of the braid drawing is open edition thus having the normal price. All four of the new prints are giclee on heavyweight, acid-free, matte paper. The new paintings I have been making over the past few months have been somewhat of a departure from the previous ones before them. I have started using oil primarily and have been expanding more on different parts of the paintings I was making previously. Hopefully those of you who have been following my work for the past few years will enjoy the growth and change. To grow as an art maker and stay honest, I hope to be continually growing, changing, and really dialing in what's important. 

Feel free to leave a comment about how bewildered and upset you are that the neon digital illustrations are setting on the horizon. I am excited to keep developing new work. Paintings aren't stopping. Drawings aren't stopping. Here's a couple to get things started.
