Leaving Michigan and September onward.
These are from some rolls of film that I shot of my last few weeks in MIchigan and as I headed out East towards Maine where I am now anchored for a few months. I am there working with the Beehive Collective, which I'll explain more about later. I was excited to see some places I haven't seen yet and learn from new people I've gotten to meet.

My last hoorah in Michigan was going North with buddies to camp and making a ruckus in Manistee National Forest.

Yay, chopper camp 2012.

...and said goodbye for a bit with the usual routine.

And I left in the dark, making it to the southern Michigan border while it was still early morning.

I decided to get off the interstate early and head up on a roundabout route. After sleeping in the front seat of my car during a downpour in the Adirondacks, I kept going and took a small ferry into Vermont. Sleeping in the front seat is less than enjoyable when you drive a stick shift.

The drive to through the Northeast was really great, even alone. The second roll of film includes what Maine is all about.
...to be continued.
